October Expedition

We had A great expedition this past Saturday night. Over the Summer we ran a contest of Facebook and the winners got to join us this past weekend. I think they all walked away with their own experiences and will be looking at the woods a bit differently now.

Marty did a few tree knocks for us, with each tree knock we had rocks thrown at us. We heard a few knocks from further out in the woods, we also heard plenty of footsteps and a few whoops. It was a good night for our guests to get to have an experience.

Tree Structure

Marty and Chris came across this at our research area. Marty had built a small one to see if we would get any reaction. Well this was found not far from where he had built his small one. So I guess he got shown up. LOL! Either way, I am highly impressed with this. I haven't seen it for my self yet. But I do intend to this coming weekend. And I will get some video for you guys.

I see something walking.....

Hi Guys, this is Lisa. It took me a while to decide if I wanted to post this or not. So I decided I would share it with you.A little over a month ago,we were headed home from an event. Marty was driving, I was in the passenger seat. Chris and Cari were in the back.We had stopped to wait on traffic to make a turn. Just as we turned, I saw something brown walking toward the woods. Just a sort of slow steady walk. I said, "I see something walking" and pointed in the direction. Marty turned and saw exactly what i was looking at. This "thing was solid brown and walking toward the woods. It was close to a golf course. So Marty said it could be a golfer. I asked if he had seen the color, He said, "yes, It was solid brown, with no neck." So, how could that have been a golfer? It was warm out. Not cold enough for anyone to be wearing such a heavy coat. And why would a golfer wear a coat that blends in with the woods, and have the hood up? That's when I realized it had been walking in a ravine. We had only seen from the around the waist up. I wanted to go back. But the traffic was to heavy to safely turn around. But we did get back there a few weeks later. We saw that this was a pretty deep ravine. Had it been a man walking, we would not have seen anything but maybe the top of his head.AND the golf course was a good 100 yards from where this thing was walking. Was it a Big Foot? I don't know. Was it a man? I'm almost positive it was not. I am hoping that we can drag a couple of team members out there to check it out. Where this thing was headed is very wooded and really close to a lake. I can't wait to get out there and look for some prints and tree structures.I will update this after we get to Investigate it further.

Eye Shine

Hi Guys! This is Lisa from CCC. And I want to share a little something with you today.I know some of you have heard the term "eye shine". But for those that haven't, Eye shine is a visible effect of the eye. When light shines into the eye of an animal the pupil appears to glow. Eye shine can be seen in many animals. You can create eye shine In flash photographs and In low light, a hand-held flashlight is also sufficient to produce eye shine.
Being a Big Foot YouTube junkie,I have seen this on numerous occasions with Big Foot photographs and video.
So when I finally got the images of my own eye shine. I though it was pretty neat. We knew something was close to us that night. From the whoops and knocks we were hearing. Just after a rock was thrown, I snapped off a couple of pictures. This is when i got my eye shine. Pretty awesome, huh? Well once I got these images uploaded to my computer, I did a little trick that my dear friend Brandon Hudgens taught me. (Brandon is the founder of our paranormal team Carolina Society for Paranormal Research and Investigation.) I took the images and made negatives out of them, just to see what else would show up. And something did! Now take a look at these images.( You may click on each image to get a larger view.)The first two are originals. The next four have been marked for you.

Now these next images, I have enlarged so you can see just where the eye shine is located.

Now, with the negative image, we see what created my Big Foot eye shine.

A spider!! LOL.
So it looks like technically, I have butt shine. So guys, double check those images. And don't be so quick to accept what is called eye shine.

Research Area Revisited

A few weeks ago, Marty, Cari and I went out to our research area, and left some goodies. Well it looks like we had some activity. These are the pictures we got late Sunday. I wish I had thought to bring along the video. But this was a last minute decision to go check it.And Cari and I ALWAYS have cameras on us.

All images may be clicked to enlarge.

These were the original photos when we left the food.

These were taken this past Sunday, February 2 2014

It appears we were left a gift of feathers. WOW! That was pretty awesome to see.
So this time, we left some Granola, and some cookies along with two shiny balls. I'm anxious to see how it goes.

Interesting.

This was just some thing we found on our Trail Cam last Summer. We have no clue what this is. It seems if it were another dog messing around. It would get the attention of the dog in the picture. Right?
And it moves very very fast from left to right. That is why was added the pictures too. So you may see how very fast it is moving.
If you have seen anything like this. Or if you have any ideas. Let us know.
